TPU-laminated fabrics, a zipper covered on the backside and an all welded design: The main compartment is 100% waterproof. You don't need any rain cover and there is no inner bag you additionally need to open.
The side pockets are protected by water repellent zippers.

Motorrad News has tested tankbags for the BMW R 1200 GS. Although Sandstorm 2E is not specially made for humped tanks, Motorrad News awards us 16 points, just one point less than the test winner: "Handy, tough and tidy built tankbag with impeccable workmanship. Volume adjustable, completely waterproof and also available in a smaller version for hard enduros."
2 Räder from Gremany has tested our tankbags and rated them "very good": "Tankbags for dirtbikes must have a tough seat even under hard riding conditions. Sandstorm 1 showed an excellent performance over more than 6'000 testing kilometers. Although the manufacturer abstains from a rain cover not even hours of rain couldn't harm. Material and zippers are very tough, the removable map pocket has a practical large size."
