As a boy, I was infected with a love of motor vehicles and technology. I would sit in the drivers seat of my fathers Alfasud, moving through the gears whilst in my imagination chasing Steve McQueen in “Bullit”.

Finally grown up, I discovered motorbikes too. I was drawn to this form of motorised transport, feeling the wind in my face, riding through every type of weather, surfing over the many variety of ground, experiencing the freedom on two wheels.

What better form of transport is there, for one or two people, to travel on or off-road in foreign lands,meeting new people and cultures, than the motorbike?

And so we come to travelling, an enduro, carrying only what you need, travelling for as long as possible - and off we go to Enduristan!

I have toured many places, both near and far. The serpentine passes of the swiss mountains, tours through the French Alps, chasing sanddunes in the sahara, or travelling through the fascinationg lands of Sri Lanka, Thailand and Indonesia.

The current highlight of my touring life was a tour in 2008, starting from my home in Wädenswil (Switzerland) and riding 16’000 km to India. I remember so many people I met, their stories, their friendship, as I travelled through the Balkans, Turkey, Iran and Pakistan.

One thing is sure, the next tour to Enduristan is just around the corner…
