| Morocco - Time for a few dunes
I could say someone had to test the prototype of the Monsoon 2 saddle bags. But in the end it just comes down to the fact, that I badly needed a few sand dunes for a change. Fabian and Marcel from the Swiss KTM Adventure Club didn't need much convincing and so we set off for Morocco.

Sandstorm 1 showed an excellent performance over more than 6'000 testing kilometers. Although the manufacturer abstains from a rain cover not even hours of rain couldn't harm. Material and zippers are very tough, the removable map pocket has a practical large size."

Carsten had a dream: He wanted to ride in the Australian outback on his BMW G/S HPN. When the winter 2011/2012 came closer he felt, that the time had come to turn this dream into reality. He didn't let anybody talk him this idea out and he didn't fear the heat of the Australian summer - he just decided to let the toughest tracks out and face the sweat.

Our original Sandstorm tankbag was great: Apart from the continuously adjustable volume, Sandstorm was one of the first water protected tankbags on the market - without the need for a rain cover. But we felt that this was not enough: What you really wanted was a 100% waterproof tankbag - and two different sizes. That's why we developed the Sandstorm 2 tankbag family.
